In the Japanese cosmetics industry, the term “bulk” refers to what goes into cosmetics bottles and containers. In other words, it's the actual product inside the packaging. And “homme” is the French word for “man”. Thus, in keeping with our philosophy of substance over style and confidence in our skincare line made for men, we simply named ourselves after our product and intended users.

So, what exactly goes into our skincare products?

Focusing on plant-based components, we carefully select ingredients that provide nutrients essential to sustaining healthy, beautiful skin. Our attention to detail doesn’t end there. We also pride ourselves in making products that feel great on your skin. This is why we regard our products to be best in class.

A Common Scent Between All Products

All of BULK HOMME’S products are formulated using our signature scent, floral fruity. When products share a scent profile, it leaves a strong impression and enhances user experience.

SUSTAINABILITY

BULK HOMME’s Sustainability Strategy

At BULK HOMME, we believe that sustainable business practices are key to the future of society. All stages of our product development, from R&D to production to packaging, are executed with as little environmental impact as possible. We are dedicated to sustainability and will continue to devise new ways to reduce our environmental footprint.

Reducing Single-Use Plastics

While utilizing plastics as responsibly as possible, we will also gradually shift our production to rely on paper and or other biodegradable materials. In doing so, we aim to effectively use limited resources, as well as reduce the impact of plastics and other non-degradable materials on the oceans.

Strides in Sustainability

In 2018, we changed our shopping bags from single-use paper bags to reusable tote bags. Additionally, we will change all containers for our products from plastic to paper starting from 2020.

Simple Packaging

We apply a simple, no-frills design concept to all of our packaging, limiting waste and excess wherever possible during production; additionally, as we continue to improve and refine our products, we are also reducing our usage of petroleum.

Abolishing Animal Testing

At BULK HOMME, we ensure that our partner research facilities do not execute animal testing at any stage of product development unless required by law.
